Genconnex ®  Warranty Genconnex ®    products   are   warranted   for   3   years   or   1000   hours,   whichever   comes   first   from   defects   in   material   and   workmanship   for   its intended   use.     The   Warranty   starts   from   your   shipment   arrival   date   from   us   or   one   of   our   approved   resellers,   and   is   transferable   to   subsequent purchasers   only   in   California.      We   reserve   the   right   to   deny   warranty   claims   when,   in   our   sole   but   reasonable   determination,   we   conclude   that the   cause   of   the   primary   failure   was   due   to   misuse   and   neglect   (including   but   not   limited   to   flood,   sand   and   debris   filled,   impact   with   vehicle   or heavy object, etc).  This warranty is applicable only to the items purchased. We   disclaim   any   responsibility   for   loss   of   time   or   use   of   the   product,   transportation,   commercial   loss,   or   any   other   incidental   or   consequential damage. Any   implied   warranties   are   limited   to   the   duration   of   this   written   limited   warranty.       We   will   either   repair   or   replace   with   like-kind   unit,   or issue   a   refund   based   on   the   pro-rata   remaining   term   of   the   warranty   period,   within   30   days   of   receipt   of   the   unit   or   goods.      We   will   pay shipping   costs   within   the   continental   48   states   to   and   back   from   our   repair   facility   if   you   call   first   to   get   a   pre-paid   shipping   label   sent   to   you   by us. This warranty and return policy is subject to revision. Product Returns (for non-warranty items) Step 1: You must contact us first within 14 days of your receipt of goods Call us at 1-800-341-0792  or email us at support@genconnex.net  for an authorization. Please note: transfer switches and generator start modules cannot be returned as they contain electronics that cannot be inspected. Please note: all returns will be subject to a 15% testing, re-packaging and restocking fee. Step 2: Return your item - returns not accepted for damaged, incomplete or mishandled goods. 1 . I tem must be in new condition. 2 . items must be returned to us within 30 days. 3 . Item must have original packaging and all accessories including manuals. 4 . Items must not contain any fluids or have been used or installed in any way 5 . Return shipping paid for by buyer (please insure your package!) Step 3: We will issue a refund to your credit card. Genconnex ®    will   refund   your   purchase   amount,   minus   a   15%   testing,   re-packaging   and   restocking   fee,   within   10   days   (inspection   and   testing time) after our receipt back of the item.  Refunds will only be made by crediting back funds to the original credit or debit card used.
